The new rule specifies that if the water temperature in an Open Water event is between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, athletes may wear a FINA-approved wetsuit; if the water temperature in an Open Water event is between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, athletes must wear a FINA-approved wetsuit, then: - between 18 and 20 degrees, moulting is permitted - below 18 degrees a wetsuit is mandatory We would like to point out that for the whole of 2017 the “Fina Approved” logo will not be necessary, therefore the Arena wetsuits you already have at home are fully compliant with the regulations.
